destra Corporation Limited (ASX:DES) and its subsidiary Yahoo! Web Hosting by OzHosting.com announced today that it will donate the cost of developing a website (www.tsunamirelief2004.com) towards the tsunami relief cause.
The site allows Australians to express their feelings, grief and emotions about recent events surrounding the tsunami disaster.
“Directly and indirectly, this has affected all Australians and we need an outlet to talk about what happened so the process of healing can begin” said Domenic Carosa, destra CEO. “No matter how small the thought, if we all share it with our fellow Australians as well as others around the world, we can see that we are all a part of this and together we can help save lives and be better people.”
Additionally, destra is donating $20 for every new web hosting package OzHosting.com sells during the months of January and February 2005. “This should raise over $10,000,” Carosa added.
The website, www.tsunamirelief2004.com will also contain helpful links to charities and other related sites for people to keep up with the latest information.
