destra refreshes partner program

Enhanced partner program and new website to help expand market coverage and increase partner support.

destra Business, a division of destra Corporation Limited (ASX:DES) (destra) has refreshed its partner program on the back of integrating its successful shared hosting division, OzHosting.com, into destra Business and launching its new website two months ago.

“With the integration of both divisions, our partner community is now over 500 strong. This is due to the acquisition a year ago of Techex, the more recent acquisition of GPM Internet and the integration of the Ozhosting.com businesses,” said Mark Randall, destra Business Sales and Marketing Director. “We have been working over the last few months to refresh the destra Business Partner Program to unite all of the resellers, increase training levels and to make them aware that, now, they have a complete range of domain, hosting, voice and data services to offer their customers.”

The destra Business division continues to experience strong growth and has increased its sales and support teams over the last six months. The breadth and depth of products and services includes voice and data communications, enterprise, co-located and shared hosting, fully managed hosting services for all platforms, domain registration, wireless and broadband connectivity, network integration and data centre facilities.

Key to the growth, maintains Randall, is the channel which brings in over 65 per cent of destra Business’ revenues.

The reworked destra Business Partner Program includes three Partner levels – Gold, Silver and Authorised - with both Reseller (wholesale) and Referral options available with each. The newly launched secure destra Business Partner Portal provides details of level benefits and associated growth and commission rebates, sales and monitoring tools and technical and sales training schedules.

“We have just announced the eight destra Business Gold Partners and fourteen destra Business Silver Partners who will be receiving their plaques throughout the month of November,” said Randall. “By investing in our channel we will continue to cement customer relationships, create stronger brand awareness and preference and identify more market opportunities.”

Recently new product launches such as destra DSL Standard (entry level broadband), destra Dedicated Hosting Standard (No Contract, $199 pm Dell Server), destra Managed Services Suite and destra SEO Standard (Search Engine Optimisation) have reinvigorated the channel.

According to Randall, “There is more on the way including destra Managed Exchange and destra Fixed Wireless Services.”
