Director appointment
Melbourne, 4th May 2007 – destra Corporation Limited (ASX: DES) destra Corporation is pleased to confirm the appointment of Mr Warwick Syphers to the Board of destra Corporation Limited.
Mr Syphers brings with him 25 years experience in the television industry having joined STW 9 in Perth in 1982. Mr Syphers has held senior management positions with Prime Television Limited (ASX: PRT) since joining the company in 1987.
Mr Syphers was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Prime Television in 2005 after having held the positions of Chief Financial Officer from 2003 and Group General Manager from 2004. In December 2006, Mr Syphers was appointed to the board of Prime Television.
Mr Syphers’ academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Masters of Business Administration, and has been a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) for over 20 years.
